Although controversial, video games are an important part of our clients’ play, their strategies for coping, and social connectedness. Whether you love them or hate them, come challenge your current beliefs about video games. Learn how to integrate this digital medium into your clinical work to support the powers of play, including facilitating communication, fostering emotional wellness, enhancing social relationships, and increasing personal strengths. This 6 hour CE training will focus on using video games as a tool to enhance your play therapy skills, reaching children, adolescents, and families in a unique and creative way.
