APT'S E-learning Center - You may earn non-contact credit by completing tests based upon the books and recorded video/audio programs (you can listen to the latter free.) These programs are not intended to compete with programs offered by approved providers and only feature niche topics hard to find elsewhere. Although you may prefer to attend workshops in-person, you can choose to explore the center and your distance learning options.
On March 9-10, 2024, GAPT hosted it's first online conference for members and the community. Dr. Rebeca Chow presented the topic "Bridging Generations thorough play: The power of play therapy across the lifespan." See highlights of this event.
On March 10-11, 2023, Marshall Lyles presented the topic "Addressing trauma of all ages using sand-based and expressive play therapy approaches." See highlights of this event.
If you are a GAPT member, an APT approved provider, and the presenter, you may list your upcoming workshop below. Please email the relevant information at least two months in advance to info@gapt.org. Relevant information includes the following:
CE trainings can take up to 1-2 months to post although they may be posted earlier. CE trainings will be removed after the date has passed.
