Roots to Stillness Counseling, a play therapy–oriented private practice in Marietta, is seeking a part-time or full-time therapist (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or associate license or license eligible) to join the practice as it grows. This is a 1099 contract position.

Roots to Stillness Counseling focuses primarily on work with children, teens, young adults, and caregivers, integrating play therapy, expressive arts, and attachment-based approaches. The practice values thoughtful, relationship-centered work and creating a consistent, nurturing space where children and caregivers feel supported and understood. Clinicians who enjoy working with younger populations, value creativity and flexibility in the therapy room, and appreciate collaboration with caregivers and other professionals tend to align well with the practice. Training in play therapy, or an interest in developing play therapy skills, is welcomed. Experience or interest in adjacent work is also encouraged. Clinicians interested in building a steady caseload over time and engaging in collaborative, ethical clinical work are encouraged to apply. After-school and evening times are typically the most requested and tend to fill more quickly.
